Monroe, WA had 7 of the top trucks on the West-coast in attendance and the track was set to satisfy. WHR built a killer double tabletop track for the monsters to show their stuff. We had single lane qualifying and David in King Krunch took the top spot with nearly a second and a half over the rest of the field. Rick Swanson in Obsession pulled in the number two spot with Daron in El Matador following close behind. Slowly the field was taken down to the final two King Krunch and Darren Migues in Bounty Hunter II. It was a close final race but David was able to out run the Hunter to take the win.

Freestyle in Monroe saw awesome performances by everyone that attended. Matador went out second and put down a great run. With other trucks like Tropical Thunder, Captain USA and Iron Outlaw laying it out for the Monroe crowd. David with the racing win was able to choose if he would follow or lead the last two trucks out for freestyle. Krunch choose to set the bar and went out first. David got some nice air off the car and van stacks keeping up the pace, some of the biggest air of the night came from David went he put all the power to the ground and launched Krunch up and over the massive table top landing the truck over 100’ out. Bounty was next to follow and Darren did a great job capping the show with some really nice hits and big air. As it always is with WHR the freestyle is not judged but we all knew the crowd was going to leave happy. The night ended with a huge fireworks show.
