Remember the Titans

Well the time has come for the Clash of the Titans again this is the 13th year for the event and we are proud to be a part of it. Daron went straight to the track to get the trucks back to 100% after Glendale. He had to replace the head gaskets in his truck and install a new borrowed tire from our friend and one of these days racing competition Mark. Mark has helped us out for several years and has been putting a truck together so he can get out and run with us. His wife was kind enough to let us use a tire and Mark for the weekend. Daron and Mark worked the better part of the week getting the trucks ready and we went into the weekend looking for a good showing. It all started of good for us. With David laying down the fastest qualifying time for Saturday night. The truck seemed like it was on rails that night and with a shower of sparks Krunch crossed the finish line for the win in the finals against Joe Miller in Iron Outlaw.

Racing Sunday was as fast as ever, Krunch and Matador put down two awesome times and it looked good for a repeat from the day before. And then the controversy came, Krunch and Foot were running and with Dan ahead into the last turn something happened to his electrical system to make the truck die and Krunch ended up winning. The call came back that someone shut Dan off and they wanted to rerun the race because the outcome affected two of the foot trucks. It was up to David on what they would do, he decided to give the race to Dan and that allowed him and Rodney to move onto the next round. Daron was the last team truck to put us in the racing winners circle again on Sunday night. But after a great run he came up short to Darren Migues in Bounty Hunter II. With both trucks out of racing we set our eyes on freestyle. David went out and put down a killer run and that put him as the leader, he had massive air and long jumps. Daron also came out and put the Matador through its paces. But he broke a pinion on one of his many massive jumps and that put him put early. Dan in Bigfoot came out and put on a good show and tied David for the top spot. Darren Migues was the last truck to run and he left nothing on the table. We want to congratulate Darren on his wins and look forward to watching him tear it up in the shows to come. We are off to Grants Pass, OR for a freestyle exhibition; we will get back with an update soon.
