Harvest Time in Oregon
It was Harvest time in Sublimity, Oregon and with six trucks in the field the farm was sure to get there pick. Daron rolled into town early in the week to get some of the displays taken care of for the team. We would like to thank Gary Basl for the shop space and a place for Daron to stay. We started the weekend of shows with a private show for the sponsors and there wasn’t a truck that left anything on the table, this show kind of dictated the rest of the weekend. All three shows had extreme highlights for everyone to take home. Jeff Bainter won the first competition on Friday night. Saturday night brought the home town Daron Basl to the top of the leader board. So on Sunday it was a shootout for the overall win, it was between Jeff and Daron. They drew cards before the show and it was Jeff that would cap off the show. It looked good for Daron for the overall when he finished his run he only had one truck to beat. Jeff went out and left it all on the track. Hopes were high when Jeff broke his truck early, but Jeff continued his run with a broken truck and came away with the win. We had a great time with everyone and enjoyed seeing all the friends and family of Daron while we were there. We are headed to the Puyallup Fair in Puyallup, Washington on Friday night for a SMTS. We look forward to seeing you there.
Look for Video’s taken by Gary Basl coming soon!!
