With 2010 fast approaching we are in middle of a two truck freshen-up. Daron’s truck is getting a much needed engine rebuild. HP Racing is in the process of building the largest engine our team has ever put together. Daron ran a nice 557cid this past year and he was hard to beat with that, but the new 572cid will make him one of the top trucks for power in the field. Look out for him this year, once he gets used to the new power plant he will be very tough to beat. Along with the new engines we are going to be supporting new headers on the trucks, we have always liked the sound of a long tube header. So both trucks will push the power out through long tube zoomies.

We are also in the process of updating the seals and shock oil (thanks to our newest sponsor www.Spectro-Oils.com) on King Krunch and El Matador. This should allow us to get the trucks landing like they are hitting a pillow. Did I mention a new sponsor, yup? We have signed on with Spectro-Oils; they are supplying us with all the necessary products to make our trucks run with the best. Back to the shop stuff, we have been busy with a ton of cool stuff; Daron reconfigured the trailer to run 4 tires on the dance floor and the trucks all in the rear. So we are in the process of building a pit cart that will fit under the trucks in the back of the trailer. We want to thank Jim for donating all the steel and sheet aluminum to get all these jobs done.

Both trucks are getting new bodies to start the year off, and yes we are back to candy blue and candy red for the base colors. We all think the trucks look better with them painted and only the graphics in vinyl. Thanks to Houston Sign for doing the graphics wraps on both trucks. Well that’s a short update of what we have going on. We are definitely looking forward to the new season and we are ready to step it up and tear some of our stuff up.
