First to Last
All we can say is wow!! The first quarter has come and gone. It has been a crazy first part of the year for us all. From the holy crap tour from Houston to Tacoma to Houston all the way to our official invite to World Finals 11. David and Daron have stayed busy from the start. We had the ability this year to run at all three of our home town shows in Houston. It was great to see all the fans that support us and to make new ones as well. And then comes Tacoma, WA what can you says about that other than Marathon. We blew every spare planetary part we had plus some. Then along comes New Orleans, we haven’t had the chance to run in the Superdome since the hurricane and really enjoyed going back and performing in-front of the Who Dat fans (We still don’t know what that means), so other than a nice engine fire in Krunch and a broken supercharger belt in Matador the night went off without a hitch. Then we were off to Rosemont, IL for a nice long relaxing weekend or something like that. With our truck ready for the long weekend and some great competition the guys left out and headed to Tallahassee, FL for a battle on the concrete with some great trucks. We had a good weekend with our share of the wins in numerous elements. We left Florida and took off to the brand new Cowboy’s Stadium. Man that place is big; both the guys put their order in for one of the massive TV’s hanging from the roof. Krunch had some rear-end damage after the freestyle run but nothing that the guys (Daron) couldn’t fix. David received the invite to the finals in front of 60+ thousand Texas fans. From there we headed to Tucson, AZ to run with our buddies Pablo and Daron’s brother Aaron. The trucks ran great and we finally got the opportunity to run the engine oil from our newest sponsor “Spectro-oil”, the oil worked great. We had no debris in the filter and great oil pressure the entire weekend. Usually our oil pressure drops over the weekend and comes out looking terrible, but with the new oil we had none of the normal issues. With the weekend almost over and the guys thinking they were coming home to get the trucks ready for Vegas, a call came in changing their plans and sending them to Reno, NV for one more show. Again both trucks ran great and with the first two shows down everything looked good for a no damage weekend then David had to go and mess that up on Saturday night. David pulled a risky move and tried to cross thread the large stack and put the truck on its lid. The weekend ended for Krunch so Daron had to finish off for the team. With our last show before the finals in the books, Daron headed to Rick Swanson’s shop and David headed back to the shop to get the parts sent out they needed to get the truck ready for the biggest show of the year. We will see you in Vegas!!!
Stop by our sponsor page and drop in on them. With out our sponsors none of this would be possible.
