We Summer is definitely here and we are in full swing. Our team is on the road for the next month and we are ready to go. Daron and Gary have been hard at it to get the truck up to 110% so we can make our tour of the Northeast. OUr shows started off in Thompson, CT for Mike Vaters. Our trucks haven’t been to the that area of the country in a long time, so it was good to see all the fans we still have over there. The show went great with Krunch going to the finals and both truck putting on a great show for the fans. Daron in my opinion took the freestyle that night. However I did have an opportunity to run a tandem freestyle with Mike. That is something we don’t get to do much of anymore. What an awesome cap to the show, the night finished of with a Fourth of July Fireworks show. What a cool event!!!!

We headed over to Joe Sylvester’s shop to get ready for the next event. Daron and Gary only have a few things to get done so we would be ready for the big show in Cincy. The guys hung out and learned some valuable wheelchair skills. With the all important WC instruction finished they took off to Cincinnati. We felt pretty good about both trucks and looked forward to showing what we had. Daron had a good qualifying run and he knew he had made a small mistake. So we both thought he would get faster as the night went on. Krunch some how pulled off the fasted qualifier for the night. Going into the rounds Krunch showed the power leaving the line and I was able to maintain the fasted time of the first round as well. Unfortunately I had no one to compare my runs to as I had bye runs both times. Believe it or not it is a disadvantage to run by yourself in early rounds. No excuses I ended my racing by losing to Blue Thunder. Daron did as we thought and got faster in the later round but was unable to pull it out in the quarter finals. Freestyle was of the hook, the obstacles where massive and there was a ton of stuff to hit. Daron started the night off and did a great job, he was cut short due to a broken sway-bar arm. He got in several nice hits and was on his way to a great run. I went out third and put down a decent run. I puled off a couple of slaps and some nice cross threads. My night ended with me slamming Daron’s truck after a slap wheelie. We were happy with the night and glad we got to meet up with one of our sponsors from Tri-R Distributing, Inc. If you need anything from tie-down straps to onboard chargers they are the guys for you check them out at www.tri-rdistributing.com.

We are off to Hagerstown next week, come check us out at Frederick Motor Company in Frederick, MD from 11am-1pm (Matador) and Advance Auto Parts in Hagerstown from 2pm-6pm (Krunch) on Thursday the 22nd.

As always stop by our sponsors and show your support. Without them we could not do this. Sponsors are an important part of an independent team and we thank them for their support!!!!
